I received my PhD in economics from Cornell University in 2023 and presently work as a Senior Research Economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.  

My research addresses two main questions: 

1) What barriers prevent individuals from pursuing further training (such as higher education or occupation-specific training), and how can and why should these barriers be minimized? 

2) What sources of information do people rely on, and how do they use new information to guide their career choices?
